Hello!
I am Abbigail Thompson, a Digital Marketing Coordinator at Monarch Media Hub and a Media Studies B.A. graduate from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi. I am passionate about helping small businesses and brands grow their wings and take flight in the digital landscape.
Creativity has always been part of who I am. As a kid, I was doodling on napkins, sewing Halloween costumes, and organizing talent shows in the living room with my siblings. I have always loved building something out of nothing. As I got older, that instinct followed me online. Social media became my creative playground, and I became fascinated with how visuals, voice, and consistency shape identity and connection.
After earning my Associate’s degree in Theatre, I found myself unsure of what came next. I knew I loved storytelling and expression, but I wanted a path where creativity could create real impact. When I stepped into Media Studies, everything began to connect. I was learning branding, communications, and digital strategy in the classroom while working inside the small businesses that had shaped my hometown.
My first marketing roles happened naturally. I began managing social media for the coffee shop where I worked, while also creating content for local clothing boutiques. I quickly learned that each business has its own personality, audience, and rhythm. What works for one does not work for another, and I loved the challenge of finding that difference.
From there, I stepped into a marketing role for a construction company. That shift pushed me to think bigger. I was no longer just creating posts. I was helping shape how a company presented itself online. I saw how thoughtful messaging builds trust in an industry where credibility matters deeply. I saw how consistency can turn a quiet brand into a confident one.
Through that experience, I grew into my role at Monarch Media Hub, where I now work with businesses across industries to clarify their voice and expand their reach. I have helped a manufacturing company strengthen its authority in its field. I have supported the production and growth of a women led podcast in the construction industry. I have worked alongside service based businesses to translate technical work into stories that people understand and connect with.
Each step built on the last. Theatre taught me how to communicate with presence. Media studies taught me how to think strategically. Small businesses taught me what is actually at stake. Today, I partner with business owners who care deeply about what they do but feel unsure how to communicate it online. My role is to bring structure to their creativity and creativity to their structure.
What started as planning iPhone photoshoots in my bedroom has grown into helping businesses show up with confidence and clarity.
This is not just a job to me. It is a craft. And I would love to help your brand take flight.
